The KCL China Review is the student‑led academic publication of the China Studies Society at King's College London. We invite essays, research articles, opinion pieces, and cultural commentaries on China‑related topics.
Topics of Interest
- Politics & Governance – domestic policy, international relations, legal reforms
- Economy & Trade – development, innovation, Belt & Road Initiative
- Culture & Society – film, literature, philosophy, social trends
- History & Memory – imperial China, modern history, national narratives
- Technology & Environment – AI, digital governance, climate policy
- Travel & Regional Studies – infrastructure, tourism, regional differences
Submission Guidelines
- Length: 800–2500 words (exceptions can be discussed)
- Format: Word or Google Doc, sent as an attachment or link
- Language: English
- Deadline: Rolling submissions
